After your registration you have ten free credits to test out our software and set up
everything with your used hardware.

To get started please click on events to create your first event with all your
preferred settings

Event Creator:

The Event Creator enables you to create your own events based on your needs and with a variety of options or, just use our template event!​


Gallery:

General Functions: The gallery stores all created images (event specific), download single, specific or all images of an event.

Dynamic Diashow:

Use a streaming device to showcase the created images on an external screen dynamically & event specific!

Statistics:

We will offer soon common statistics so you can see and measure the success of your activation.

When you are in the event manager you need to create your first custom event, please click the "CREATE EVENT" Button.

Further Information

​

Events:

An event is created with the Event Creator. Define the name, selected AI-Filters and define sharing Options. You can only create your own event when the eventcreator function is enabled for your purchased package and solution.

​

Template Event

A template event is an event with up to 8 AI-Filters. The AI-Filters are chosen by the eventstation.ai team and represent a mixture of different styles. 
Template events are predefined and instantly usable.

Custom Event

A custom event is created by a user. You can integrate an unlimited amount of filters (recommendation: 1-10) and choose from our variety of options, which Event Creator offers.
Click on "create event" and start to create your first custom event

Please define the name of your event, this helps you later to locate your created
event in the photobooth loop

Please select if you want to use your AI-photobooth with two person mode enabled,
if you select the two person mode you will have an option to select it inside the
photobooth loop.

​Please select the output quality you want to have, we offer 3 different quality modes. Each single one has a different render time.

Quick: 6-9 seconds creation time
HD: 10-12 seconds creation time
4k: 16-20 seconds creation time

Now select the AI-Filters you want to use in your event from our libary of over 200 AI-filter, if you want to see how each filter looks please open our gallery under the following link:

Use our search function the speed up the process to find the AI-filter you want to use

We recommend using 3-6 AI-Filters per event since a larger amount of AI-filters can
overwhelm your customers.

Choose the image ration that suits you the best, generally we recommend portrait aspect ratio.

Depending what quality mode you selected before the pixel resolution for each
aspect ratio changes to the following:

Quick
Landscape: 3:2 1200x800 pixels
Portrait: 2:3 800x1200 pixels
Square: 1024x1024 pixels

HD
Landscape: 3:2 1800x1200 pixels
Portrait: 2:3 1200x1800 pixels
Square: 1536x1536 pixels

4k
Landscape: 3:2 2400x1600
Portrait: 2:3 1600x2400 pixels
Square: 1:1 2048x2048 pixels

Please select the delivery methods you want to enable in your event:

Download: The download function enables you to download the image on your device after you created an image.

E-Mail: Send the created image directly to your customer, after the image was created your
client can enter his e-mail adress and we will send his image to him directly.

Printing: Enables you to print an image. For the best user experience please refer to our automatic printing guide so you don´t have to confirm that you want to print the image.

QR Code Download: Enables your client to scan a QR Code to download the image
directly onto their phone

Share on social media: Enables you to share the created image on your photobooth directly to social media.

Print Sharing Options::

Our WebApp enables the direct printing of the generated images including potentially used designs such as banners or map layouts.

Custom Sharing Designs

For our digital sharings options we offer for eventstation branded paackages predesigned sharing options.

When purchasing a whitelabel solution you can even integrate your own design. Further designs do cost 100€ as a signle-payment. This service includes the integration of a new desing and also the switch back to your commonly used design.

If you want to add an overlay or banner on your created image upload your wanted overlay,
please keep in mind that your overlay needs a transparent background and the correct format as your selected aspect ratio
as well as quality mode you´ve selected.

To Identify your event more easily later you can upload an image, this step is not mandatory.

In the Overview screen you see all your selected options for your event,
click on the pencil icon if you want to change any setting before creating your event.

After creation your first event you are able to edit the event by clicking on the pencil icon or delete it by clicking on the trashcan.

Now you are ready to start the photobooth loop with your created event.

After you created your first event go back to the homepage and press start photobooth loop

Our webapp will now search for all available webcams on your device, please wait a few seconds and confirm in the popup that our webapp uses your camera. If your camera is not visible in the list please make sure that your camera is available as a webcam. 

If you continue to have trouble with your camera or dslr
to be recognized please go to our troubleshooting guide to learn more how to resolve this issue.

Note: Close Other Tabs or Applications that might be using your camera. Our web application requires exclusive access to your camera to function properly.

After seeing your camera input you can press start the photobooth loop, afterwards you will be in the Endcustomer loop
and you won´t have to reselect any settings as long as your event is going on.

Now select your pcapture mode, it enables you to create images with either one or two persons. If you select two person mode please define the gender of each person from left to right.

To make good two person photos follow our tips to guarantee best results:

Enables the transformation of up to two persons in front of the camera. The two persons shouldn’t overlap to guarantee a flawless performance. They must be clearly separated from each other and not touch each other. Overlapping leads to an error message and the process must be overtaken.

This page is always displayed, allowing clients to select from the available AI filters. We recommend choosing 1-6 filters per event for optimal results. Filter Selection: Explore all available filters in the Filter Management section. Events will have AI filters predefined based on your selection.

This page appears when the "Single" Capture Option is selected. If the Controlled-Capture-Mode is in use, this page is bypassed, and gender is automatically identified using Deep Vision algorithms. Gender Selection: We provide gender representation options for both adults and children. Note: We understand the sensitivity surrounding gender identity. Ensuring accurate gender representation is paramount to us, while also empowering users with full control over how gender is displayed in their images

Once you've chosen an AI-Filter, it's time to capture your moment! Position yourself directly in front of the camera.
 

  • Hit the 'Take Photo' button and the countdown starts

 

  • Press the 'Take Photo' button to initiate a countdown that begins from 3 and counts down to 1


After the countdown, your photo will be taken

The image rendering is now complete!

Users have several options to receive their created image. Selecting the “Start Again” button will go back to the privacy policy page to restart the endcustomer loop.

Operating System Requirements

Operating Sytems: Photbooth system Requirements

Generally our solution runs on any system with a connected camera and internet capabilities.:

  • Computer based systems (e.g. Laptop, working station or similiar)

  • Tablet or Smartphone

  • any Camera



Deep Dive Photoboooth System Support:

Supported Systems:

  • Windows (Version 10 or higher)

  • Android (Version 13 or higher)

  • iOS (Version 16.1 and higher)


Supported Browser: Mozilla Firefox, Chrome, Safari

Connected e.g. DSLR- or integrated camera
A active Video signal is mandatory
Any camera that is recognized as a webcam on your system is usable
Note: DSLR-Camera can pot. need a Third Party Software e.g. Canon need the Webcam Utility Software.
Internet:
A stable internet connection is needed to run or solution.
Note: An average image size is 0,7MB

System & Browser need to be updated with the latest version. Different Browser or outdated system aren't recommended and can lead to problems when using our products.

General Requirements for the Event

Lighting & Resolution: Ensure the subject's face is well-lit and clearly visible. Proper lighting is key to capturing good images. Make sure to have good lightning exposure of the captured persons esp. their faces) and at least HD-Quality.

GenAI is not alchemy, means the worse the light exposure or the quality the less recognizable the created AI-images will be.

Resolution for the Input Device: Use a camera that supports at least full HD resolution. High-quality input images allow our algorithms to produce the best possible output.

Person Positioning

We offer different solutions for a different number of persons.
For single-person Mode: Position the user close enough so that the person's face occupies at least half of the captured photo.


For two Person Mode: User can’t touch each other. They need to stand next to each other with a visible gap between them (no overlapping/crossing). Position the users close enough so that the person's face occupies at least half of the captured photo.


Note: An Message can appear, that the person are to close to each other, then please repeat the process. It is helpful, to position yourself slightly angeled, when you are two persons.


For group mode: All kind number of persons are usable.

Please create some space between each person, they aren´t allowed to touch each other, if the instructions aren´t followed you will recieve a error message so you have to redo it.

Photobooth Alignment

Alignment of the photo box: Aim You can Position the photobooth as you wish, we capture the closest faces of the persons to the camera.. We automatically recognize the biggest Faces on the captures images if single person mode is used. Our solution can be directly operated without the need of a green screen or similar!:

Trouble Shooting

Camera unrecognizable for webcams (general)

Follow these steps to get everything running smoothly again. 

 

  • Allow Camera Access: Make sure to permit camera usage in your browser. A prompt usually appears in the top left corner of your browser window requesting access.
     

  • Check Camera Connection: Ensure your camera is properly connected to your device. If using an external camera, verify that it's securely plugged in.
     

  • Close Other Applications: Ensure your camera is not in use by another application or browser tab. Exclusive access is necessary for it to work with our webapp.
     

  • Update Your iOS: If you're on an iOS device, check for any available system updates and install them.
     

  • Browser Update: Ensure your web browser is up to date. Latest versions often fix bugs that could interfere with camera functionality.
     

  •  Stable Internet Connection: A steady and reliable internet connection is crucial, especially for web-based applications like ours.
     

  • Reload Page: If your camera is not being recognized within 1 minute please refresh the page
     

  • Switch your browser: If none of the above works switch your browser to something else, verified working browsers are: Chrome, Firefox, Safari

For Canons & other DLSR:

  • Download EOS Utility Software: Download the latest EOS Utility Software version that works with your camera.
     

  • Download EOS Webcam Utility Software: Please check if your EOS camera is supported by this utility software, if available install it and restart your PC. 
     

  • Check Device Manager: Open Device Manager to check if your camera is beign recognized under the Camera Tab. If it is not visible our Webapp can´t access your Camera.
     

  • Change USB Cable and test different USB Port: A Faulty USB-Cable can create problems, please use a different one to check.
     

  • Test if your EOS DSLR Works in google meet: Please check if your camera is being recognized there, if it is not it won´t work in our webapp either.
     

  • Browser Update: Ensure your web browser is up to date. Latest versions often fix bugs that could interfere with camera functionality.
     

  • Deactivate WLAN: Please deactivate in your Camera settings the WLan function, this can block the usage via USB Cable.
     

  • Reinstall EOS Drivers: Sometimes you have the wrong EOS Utility Software installed, please reinstall the correct version to make sure or check their website for compatible Version.
     

  • Reinstall USB Drivers: Faulty USB drivers can block the usage of your camera, please go into your device manager to the universal serial bus controllers and right klick on generic USB hub and press update drivers.

The colors are not being displayed correctly

  • iOS and Operating System Updates: Older IOS or operating systems don´t support modern web functionalities, please keep everything up to date.
     

  • Browser Updates: An outdated browser can cause issues with how colors and images are rendered. Check for any updates and install them.
     

  • Switch your browser: If none of the above works switch your browser to something else, verified working browsers are: Chrome, Firefox, Safari

No Image Is Being Generated

  • Internet Connectivity: Verify your internet connection. A disruption during the image generation process can lead to errors.

     

  • Patience Is Key: Image generation can sometimes take a little longer, especially during periods of high demand. Please allow up to a minute for the process to complete.

     

  • Reload Page: If the loading time exceeds 2 minutes please reload the page.

Automatic Printing

Define your printer settings & printer (needed for firefox & chrome browser)

  1. ​Accessing the Platform: Navigate to app.phantaisia.com in your browser.

  2. Account Authentication: Log in with your account credentials.

  3. Print Configuration

    1. Select "View Gallery" to access your event photos.

    2. Identify the event you wish to print photos for and select the print icon.

  4. A dialog will prompt you to select print settings. Specify your printer and desired settings, noting that these settings will apply universally for the automatic printing. Test print to ensure settings are correct.

For Firefox Users

When you want to modify your printer settings after setting the kiosk mode, follow the following steps. This is esp. needed, when you want to use a different printing format.

​

a. Enter "about:config" in Firefox's address bar.

b.Acknowledge the warning and proceed.

c. Search for "print.always_print_silent" and toggle the setting to "false"

d. Make sure the value of the option is now shown as "true".

e. Repeat the steps from chapter 2.1 a to f ("Enableing Silent Printing") to set up the Silent Printing again, when you modified your printer settings.

For Chrome Users

Preliminary Steps

Configuring Automatic Printing: Duplicate your Google Chrome shortcut on the desktop and rename the copy for ease of identification (e.g., "Chrome for Events").

​

Enableing Automatic Printing

Right-click the new shortcut, select "Properties", and append " --kiosk-printing" to the "Target" field. Ensure this addition is outside of any quotation marks. Apply and close.

Open Chrome using this modified shortcut and open our webapp to now automatically print images.

This Step is mandatory to modify your printing settings.

 

  1. Use the original google chrome shortcut, from which you created in the duplicate
     

  2. Right-click the new shortcut, select "Properties", and append " --kiosk-printing" to the "Target" field. Ensure this addition is outside of any quotation marks. Apply and close.
     

  3. Open Chrome using this modified shortcut and open app.phantaisia.com to now automatically print images.
